The growing site gave us grapes with lots of natural acidity, however, because of this wine’s high level of flavor intensity, it only contributes to the balance of the wine. When you taste the Verna’s syrah there are gobs of fruity flavors that literally zing across your palate! Syrah’s peppery aspects are present but in the background, though it possesses a pronounced savory herbal earthiness. Unusual and terrific!
